With ten minutes on the clock and morale sinking faster than the Titanic, I snagged every lamp we had, threw some colored gels over them for that sun-kissed glow, and repurposed a kiddie pool filled with sand. Turned our tropical debacle into a beach shoot that had everyone fooled – and the pics? Instagram gold, baby.Or how about the time our vintage car for the 50s-themed photoshoot decided to play dead? No amount of sweet talking or engine revving would wake her up. So, I flipped the script. We used that gorgeous hunk of metal as a retro diner booth, had our models pose around it with milkshakes and sunglasses. What we got was a set of images that not only saved the day but also brought a fresh twist on nostalgia. Talk about making lemonade out of lemons – or should I say, milkshakes out of a breakdown.

Origin story

I was born with a pencil in my hand. No kidding, straight out the jam, coloring on walls was my very first memory. I've kept diaries since I was a wee gal, and as a child I was known to be found facing the corner with a book in my lap.I used to read the dictionary for a living, (bet you can't see me at Scrabble!) and as a young adult I dabbled in spoken word. [Who am I kidding, I was a slam champion!], debate team scholar lead, and 4.0 major with perfect attendance through the 10th grade. I once went to school with strep throat and when I was asked why I went my answer was simple, "I didn't want to let my team down."I became a brand storyteller. After attaining my master's degree in writing, pedagogy (teaching of leaders), and living that valedictorian life... I started working with agencies running social media campaigns, creative email marketing, driven content writing, and concepts for personal brands and lifestyle products. I've worked with companies who became more like family, and I became a private consultant.Over 20 years, there isn't much I haven't seen, an industry I haven't worked in, or a personality I haven't met. It's been epic.
